Cleaning the Grease on Septic — Clyman, WI — United Septic & Drain Services Inc

How Often Should My Grease Trap Be Cleaned/Pumped?

Industry standards state that a grease trap should be cleaned out once every month to three months. With that said, you must follow the ¼ rule, which states that if your grease trap is filled with fats, oils and other solids about ¼ of the way, then it is time for a pump.

We often times use hydrojetting to clear lines that are getting clogged with grease. Hydro/Water Jetting is an innovative process that uses extremely high water pressure, which allows for the water to break through buildup and grease.
We have on-truck jetters for residential and light-commercial cleanings, as well as, an industrial jetter for large commercial and industrial projects.

Keeping Your Business Safe and Efficient

We offer regular maintenance plans to ensure that your system remains safe and efficient. Our techs remove the solids that are caught on top of the baffles. Baffles are put there to catch the waste and prevent it from entering the sewer system. We will also make sure that your interceptor is cleaned out and that all buildup is removed.
